If you've read my debut novel, Failstate, then you may have noticed on the back page that I'm offering a special giveaway for my readers.
In Failstate, our intrepid hero hears a hymn sung at a worship service entitled "On What Has Now Been Sown." This is a real hymn, one that I often use when leading worship services. I thought it might be cool to share this hymn with you.
So I asked some friends of mine to record it. I went to college with the members of Tangled Blue, a Christian band, and they were more than happy to record the hymn with their own particular flavor. The result is incredible. I play it at least once a day just to enjoy it and I'm sure you will too.
Unfortunately, I'm in the process of transitioning from a blog to a website and it's taking a little longer than I anticipated (my fault entirely). When the new website is up, it'll be that much easier to download the song.
But if you don't want to wait, I understand. If you want to get your copy of "On What Has Now Been Sown" right now, then this is what you can do: send an e-mail to failstate (at) hotmail (dot) com. Sorry about the weird way of writing that out; I don't want to deal with spambots invading my blog. Just replace the stuff in parentheses with the appropriate symbols and we'll be good to go!
And be sure to check out Tangled Blue's music. They have some great albums!
