Sinful human beings try to find other things to blame for the evil things they do. But Jesus makes it quite clear where the true fault lies.

Just what it is. But I suppose I might talk about God, writing, TV shows, and whatever else is knocking around my brain that day.
Sinful human beings try to find other things to blame for the evil things they do. But Jesus makes it quite clear where the true fault lies.

There’s this one word in Ephesians 5:22 that causes people to get all up in arms. How does the word “submit” really fit into God’s plan for marriage and His will for all His people?

That's the premise of this month's book, Offworld by Robin Parrish. The astronaut in question is Commander Christopher Burke, the leader of a four person team. He and his teammates arrive back from Mars to discover that everyone everywhere is gone (as it says on the back of the book). There's no indication of where they went. The only clue they have leads them to Houston. But it seems like someone ... or something ... doesn't want them to make it. Now Burke has to struggle to keep his team together while he also grapples with memories of something that happened to him on Mars. Can they find out where everyone has gone? Or will they be the next victims?Peter’s question in John 6:69 is a familiar one. We ask that question of ourselves every day. To whom will we go? Who will we follow? Given our need for a Savior, there’s really only one answer to that question.

Those few of you who follow my blog know that I loved Camy's Sushi series. Well, tonight I noticed that she is giving away boxes and boxes of Christian fiction. I hopped on over to her website immediately and wound up drooling all over my keyboard at the selection.
This was, perhaps, the greatest surprise for me. When Joker unleashed the first wave of thugs after me, the game prompted me to just left click. And I did. And my jaw promptly hit the floor.God calls on his children of light, His people, to imitate Him in what we say, think, and do.

The crowd who witnessed the feeding of the 5,000 wanted a rerun of the miracle. Their reaction to Jesus says a lot about their priorities and helps us reexamine ours.

You know, sometimes I'm a sucker when it comes to reading books.
So I dove in and, sadly, I think I might regret it.
